Hurricanes games postponed through Saturday

The Hurricanes’ games through Saturday, Jan. 23 have been postponed, the NHL announced on Wednesday.

Five Carolina players are currently on the NHL’s COVID-19 protocol related absence list, the league said in a statement. The team’s facilities have also been closed.

“The league is in the process of reviewing and revising the Hurricanes’ regular season schedule,” the NHL said.

Carolina’s Tuesday game against the Nashville Predators was postponed earlier that day “out of an abundance of caution.”
