On the red carpet, Hunter Schafer’s fashion choices are always thrilling to watch. The Euphoria star has no problem taking risks; she’s effortlessly pulled off Givenchy couture dresses as well as Rick Owens’s mega platform boots. Off-duty, the actor’s style is just as intriguing. Yesterday, for instance, Schafer was spotted grabbing a coffee in New York City, and she turned the SoHo outing into an opportunity to play dress up. She wore several runway pieces, including one of the season’s coolest—and hardest to get—boots.
Putting a more high-fashion twist on the classic fall-winter ankle boot, Schafer stepped out in black platform boots from Maison Margiela. The style is from a collaboration Margiela did with Reebok, a chunkier version of the label’s Tabi boot, featuring its iconic split-toe detail. (They’re sold out at many retailers.) She paired the statement shoes with black skinny jeans and a cropped R13 bomber jacket, which is from the brand’s fall 2020 collection. Even her mask, in a blinding neon green, lent an edgy vibe. The whole look was just about as downtown-cool as a caffeine run fit can get. If this outfit was a drink? It would for sure be a premium $10 oat milk latte.
