While Fortnite has captivated teenagers around the world, the wildly popular video game has drawn a more mixed reaction from parents.

Some adults, concerned about Fortnite’s addictive nature and violence, view it as a pox. But others have embraced the game for its opportunities to socialize. At the recent Fortnite World Cup, where a 16-year-old won $3 million for taking first place, one family wore T-shirts saying, “We’re Not a Regular Family, We’re a Fortnite Family.”
