In what might have been the NBA’s craziest morning of the 2020-21 season, Suns point guard Chris Paul entered the league’s health and safety protocols and is sidelined for an indefinite period, sources told The Athletic’s Shams Charania on Wednesday.
The Suns confirmed Wednesday that Paul was “currently out” due to the league’s protocols and that they would provide the next update on his status on Saturday. Paul’s status for the start of the Western Conference finals is still up in the air, sources told Charania.
Phoenix will face the winner of the Jazz-Clippers series, which is tied 2-2, in the next round.
