Hornets guard Malik Monk suspended for violating NBA’s anti-drug policy


Malik Monk has been suspended for violating the NBA’s Anti-Drug Program, and no date has been set yet for when the Charlotte Hornets guard will be eligible to return.

On Wednesday, the NBA issued a statement announcing that Monk has been suspended and will not be cleared until he is in compliance with the league’s anti-drug program. The suspension will begin with Wednesday night’s game against the New York Knicks.
