Home School: Use a paper bag for practicing your wedge game while at home

Just because you’re spending most of your days around the house does not mean you can’t improve your golf game. From swinging in the garage to building a hole in your backyard, there are plenty of creative ways to get your golf fix.

Another fun way to get some practice in while at home is to use a chipping bag. Instructor Nathalie Filler showed us a fun way to use this bag and some tips to focus on when using it. Watch the video above or read below for more.

If you have room in your backyard for this, great, but even if you don’t you can set up in your house on any soft surface. Simply place an open paper bag somewhere in front of you and try to chip some balls into the opening at the top.

“I’m going to be working on hitting just a standard pitch shot here,” Filler says. “What we’re looking for is clean contact. I want you to make sure that club is not moving too much around or behind you, or too much out and away from you.”
