An adorable puppy whose markings have formed a perfect ‘mustache’ just below the nose is looking for a home.

The dog, named Salvador Dolly after Spanish artist Salvador Dali – famed for his extravagant, curling mustache – was born five weeks ago in Dallas, Texas, and is one of ten pups.

Despite the apparent facial hair, Salvador Dolly is a girl.

The little dog, her mother and siblings are currently in foster care.

They will be transported from Dallas to New York City by rescue group Hearts and Bones, with Salvador Dolly then set to live fashionable city’s biggest movers and shakers.

Hearts and Bones spokesman Allison Seelig told Good Morning America: ‘We were definitely in disbelief – how does a puppy end up looking like this?

‘She’s super playful with her siblings. They crawl and nip all over each other.’
