Here's what you missed from Round 2 of the RSM Classic

What a difference a day makes. Yesterday’s leader is now outside of the top 10, and some of the big names are heading home after missing the cut. Turns out, you have to go low to stick around for the weekend at the RSM Classic.

Here’s everything you missed from Friday’s action in Sea Island, Georgia.

Tyler Duncan leads

A seven-birdie, one-eagle round of nine-under-par 61 launched Tyler Duncan four places up the leaderboard into the top spot at 14 under par overall, where he leads his closest competitors, Sebastian Munoz, Rhein Gibson and D.J. Trahan, by two shots.

The 30-year-old Duncan is seeking his maiden PGA Tour victory this week. His best finish last season was T5 at the AT&T Byron Nelson.

What happened to Webb Simpson?

After an opening round of 65 on Thursday, Webb Simpson led the field by a shot heading into Round 2, but his second round of two-under-par 68 failed to keep pace with the other players firing red numbers all over the place, and Simpson dropped 10 spots into T11.
