German tennis chief slams French Open officials and warns event won't happen in September


“If there is a possibility that we can play, we will all be happy. But their way of making the announcement, the absence of qualifications, the dates, if everyone starts to act in this way, tennis is dead.”

Hordorff then directed his ire at FFT president Bernard Giudicelli.

The Frenchman has defended the decision to move Roland Garros but Hordorff claimed the rescheduling was an attempt by Guidicelli to save his job.

Hordorff added: “It is not the traditional way of doing the French, who usually rely on solidarity and unity. Instead, it is the way of doing of President Bernard Giudicelli, it is disgusting.
