Gary Player posts video of Jack Nicklaus sharing golf tips at The Bear's Club

Gary Player is 85 years old, has nine major titles and the PGA Tour Lifetime Achievement Award, but still is willing to listen to some advice every now and then.

Player wrote on Twitter Sunday he spent Saturday hitting balls at The Bear’s Club in Jupiter, Florida. After his storied career filled with numerous accolades, the three-time Masters winner admitted he’s still frustrated that his “backswing is so short.”

That’s when the Golden Bear himself stepped in.

Jack Nicklaus, 80, met Player on the range Saturday and gave Player a few pointers. Player tweeted a video of Nicklaus, an 18-time major champion, coaching him up on the range.

“The grind never stops. #restisrust,” Player tweeted alongside the video.

Earlier this month, Player and Nicklaus participated in the ceremonial first tee shot at the 2020 Masters Tournament at Augusta National. The pair is expected to participate in the ceremonial first tee shot at the 2021 Masters alongside Lee Elder in April.
