Gareth Bale WILL make megamoney China move in January that matches Lionel Messi's wages

Gareth Bale will move to China in the January transfer window and become the world’s highest paid player if Real Madrid accept a deal with only a minimal transfer fee.

The four-times Champions League winner flew to London to meet with his agent on Monday and several Spanish media speculated Tuesday that the club are preparing to allow Bale to join Jiangsu Suning who he reached full agreement with in the summer.

But the player’s camp remain skeptical after Real Madrid pulled out of the deal in the transfer window at the last moment after changing their mind about him leaving for almost nothing.

Bale has not forgiven the club for the way he feels he was pushed towards the exit in pre-season with coach Zinedine Zidane saying it would be best if he left sooner rather than later.

But when the player’s agent Jonathan Barnett found him a club, Real Madrid u-turned on letting him leave because the transfer to Jiangsu Suning was for a nominal transfer fee of under £9million.

Having originally been skeptical about the switch Bale had come around to the idea of becoming the biggest transfer to China in the history of the Chinese Super League.

Spanish media have linked Bale with moves to Shanghai Shenhua and Jiangsu Suning

His salary in China as the Super League’s biggest signing to date would put him in a par with global top earner Lionel Messi who earns £39million.

But Chinese sports law obliging clubs to pay the state whatever they pay the club has drastically brought down the transfer fees they are able to pay.

Madrid will have to choose in January whether they lose their unhappy top earner on a minimal fee or keep hold of him at least until the end of the season.
