Friday’s Stronach 5 Rewards 46 Winners With $2,434

The Stronach 5, featuring races from Laurel Park and Gulfstream Park, had 46 winners Friday with each receiving $2,434.10.

The winning combination was: 6/1,6,9,10/8/3/13

The sequence began with Laurel Park’s eighth race and a $12.20 winner in Fed Up Fired Up. It ended with Gulfstream Park’s ninth race and Fantasizing winning at 2-1.

The seventh and ninth races from Gulfstream were taken off the turf before the Stronach 5 due to rain in the South Florida area. The Stronach 5 featured a $100,000 guaranteed pool and an industry-low 12-percent takeout.

· Leg Two –Gulfstream Park 7th Race: Sammie Sunshine $6

· Leg Three –Laurel Park 10th Race: Wildcattin $12.60

· Leg Four – Gulfstream Park 8th Race: Gnarly $7.80

· Leg Five –Gulfstream Park 9th Race: Fantasizing $6

The minimum wager on the multi-race, multi-track Stronach 5 is $1. If there are no tickets with five winners, the entire pool will be carried over to the next Friday.

If a change in racing surface is made after the wagering closes, each selection on any ticket will be considered a winning selection. If a betting interest is scratched, that selection will be substituted with the favorite in the win pool when wagering closes.
