Frank Vogel says four-game losing streak has made Lakers 'edgy'

The Los Angeles Lakers have not won a game in nearly two weeks, and head coach Frank Vogel can notice the tense atmosphere that it has created.

Addressing reporters Saturday, Vogel discussed the team’s losing streak.

“I think they’re a little bit edgy,” he said of his players, per Mike Bresnahan of Spectrum SportsNet. “Appropriately edgy, I would say.”

After starting the season a blistering 24-3, the Lakers have lost their last four consecutive games, getting outscored by a total of 39 points over that span. Nevertheless, they still have the best record in the Western Conference by a full two games.

While the Lakers have may also have some internal drama brewing, rough stretches like this always creep up over the course of an 82-game season, so the team shouldn’t be overly worried.
