Leeds injury list lengthens with Costa out for season
Leeds winger Costa (£5m, 63pts) picked up a back injury in the game against United on April 25. He was slammed to the ground while battling with Aaron Wan-Bissaka (£5.7m, 134pts).
Both Raphinha (£5.4m, 115pts) and Kalvin Phillips (£4.9m, 58pts) missed the loss against Brighton at the weekend and are still doubts for their game against Tottenham Hotspur.
“They’re being evaluated on a daily basis to see whether they can be available,” said Marcelo Bielsa. “We have to wait until Saturday.”
Xhaka a doubt for game against West Brom
Xhaka (£5.2m, 66pts) is likely to be out of Arsenal’s game against West Bromwich Albion on Sunday.
The midfielder, who has been playing a more defensive role in the absence of Kieran Tierney (£5.2m, 78pts), sustained a muscle injury during the warm-up ahead of Arsenal’s semi-final second leg against Villarreal on Thursday evening.
Defender Luiz (£5.4m, 41pts) is also back on Arteta’s injury list despite his recent return from a minor knee operation. He was forced to be substituted off during Arsenal’s game against Newcastle with a hamstring issue.
Wood available for relegation clash with Fulham
New Zealand international Wood (£6.4m, 126pts) is available for Burnley’s match against Fulham on Monday — which could see Scott Parker’s side relegated to the Championship if they lose and Newcastle beat Leicester City.
Sean Dyche confirmed that Wood had a dead leg after their 2-1 loss to West Ham but “he’s come through that fine” and will likely feature this weekend.
Vestergaard back in squad while Ings still out injured
Jannik Vestergaard (£4.7m, 80pts) is available for selection ahead of Southampton’s game against Liverpool after his red card in their 1-1 draw against Leicester City was overturned after an appeal.
However, striker Danny Ings (£8.4m 114pts) is unlikely to feature for Ralph Hassenhuttl as he continues to recover from a hamstring injury.
