Floyd Mayweather on fight with Logan Paul: ‘I can use my Z game’

Floyd Mayweather does not believe he’ll need his best effort to beat YouTube star Logan Paul in their exhibition boxing match on Sunday.

“I ain’t gotta use my A game, my B game, my C game. I can use my Z game,” Mayweather said Thursday at a promotional event for the fight. “Don’t even gotta hit him hard. Result’s going to be the same.”

Asked about the possibility of facing Paul’s brother, Jake Paul, if he beats Logan Paul, Mayweather pivoted to attack the internet personalities’ abilities as boxers.

“I take my hat off to these guys,” Mayweather said. “They have done good, to fool the public about being some real fighters. Man, you going to find out Sunday.”

Mayweather, 44, will be fighting for the first time since beating Tenshin Nasukawa in December 2018. Sunday’s match is an exhibition, but Logan Paul is 0-1 as a professional boxer, losing to English YouTuber KSI in November 2019. Jake Paul is 3-0 as a pro boxer and will next face former UFC welterweight champion Tyron Woodley.
