Enter Mike D’Antoni, Ime Udoka: 5 thoughts on Steve Nash’s Nets staff

Steve Nash and the Nets have put together a coaching staff that should match the talent on the roster.

The team on Friday announced two significant assistant coaching hires in Mike D’Antoni, who coached Nash in Phoenix, and Ime Udoka, who has been on Brooklyn’s radar for years. The rest of Nash’s staff includes player development coach Amar’e Stoudemire, Nash’s former teammate, as well as assistants Adam Harrington, Jordan Ott and Tiago Splitter and player development coordinator Ryan Forehan-Kelly, all of whom were retained. Nash and the Nets had already retained Jacque Vaughn to be the lead assistant.
