Emma Raducanu 'will go through a lot of coaches' after whirlwind breakthrough

It appears that the teen has stepped up her quest for a new coach, and has reportedly lined up a trial period with the former coach of fellow British player Johanna Konta.

Esteban Carril helped Johanna Konta break into the world’s top 10, starting outside the top 100, and The Telegraph report he is set to spend time working with Raducanu.

The Spaniard helped Konta to reach the Australian Open semi-finals in 2016, and inside the top 10 in the rankings.

He is also a coach closely associated with the Lawn Tennis Association (LTA), and Raducanu has previously worked with multiple LTA coaches.
