Emma Raducanu shares first practice footage since coaching split as she nears comeback

After a successful North American hard court season together, which saw Raducanu make her first WTA 125k-level final at the Chicago Challenger before her unprecedented run at the US Open, the teenager has once again made an intriguing decision in ending her partnership with Richardson after achieving success.

The new world No.22 is now looking to work with someone who has more tour-level experience, as her ranking now means she will be able to gain direct entry to the biggest events in the WTA calendar, and she shared footage from one of her practice sessions for the first time since announcing the news.

Uploading a video to Instagram showing herself hitting from the baseline of a hard court with LTA branding, she wrote: “nothing beats this. #work”.

Raducanu is yet to announce her first post-US Open tournament, with many expecting her to play the upcoming WTA 1000 in Indian Wells, which she would need a wild card for.
