Eight additional horses in the second quarantine barn at Remington Park have tested PCR positive for EHV-1. These horses have been moved to the Isolation Barn and are clinically normal. Information to date indicates the virus has been contained to the two quarantined barns.

The track announced on Nov. 15 that one horse had tested positive for EHV-1 and had been euthanized.

Track officials estimated on Nov. 22 that 100 horses had been exposed to EHV-1.

Louisiana Downs and Delta Downs announced temporary bans on horses from Remington Park. Previously, the New Mexico Racing Commission and Oaklawn Park announced similar bans on horses who had been to Remington or had been in contact with horses coming from Remington.
