Eastern Conference finals preview: Bucks can’t blow this opportunity

It’s amazing how small the margins can be between success and perceived failure in the NBA.

If Kevin Durant had normal-sized feet, the Milwaukee Bucks would be looking at wholesale changes right now, with a new coaching change almost assuredly part of it. Instead, because Durant’s size-18 flipper clipped the 3-point line in Saturday’s epic Game 7, the Bucks have an open highway of opportunity ahead of them.

That doesn’t necessarily reduce the pressure. I’ll put it this way: winning a championship in any season is hard. You don’t necessarily get the right mixture of talent, injury luck and a favorable bracket every year. And even if you do, there might be another squad that gets a bit more of it.
