The scenery at this cinema is so stunning, it might distract you from the movie itself.

The Wavelength drive-in cinema at Trebelsue farm, Watergate Bay in Cornwall is on a clifftop, overlooking the Atlantic Ocean.

As the name suggests, you’ll be able to turn up in your car and watch some classics on the big screen.

Alongside some old favourites, the cinema will have a whole range of surf-inspired movies to pay tribute to the spectacular coastline where it is based.

The cinema will run from 16 July to 5 September.

Whether you’re a local or visiting the area for a staycation, it’s perfect for family get-togethers, friend meetups or a romantic date night watching the sunset in the distance.

Some of the movies include Jurassic Park, The Greatest Showman, Grease and Top Gun, with both day and evening showtimes.

Picnic tickets are also available – but you need to have a car to get to the site (Picture: Jam Press)

Surf-based options include Blue Juice and Point Break or action thriller ‘Jaws’.

Drinks and food, including popcorn, of course, will be served on site, with lots of non-alcoholic options for the designated driver.

Before and after the screening, you can also enjoy some live entertainment.

The audio will be streamed direct into your car to make sure you can hear what is going on.

Tickets cost £26 for one car with the driver, but you need to add £6 for each additional passenger.

They are also offering picnic passes for those who wish to park their car and sit outdoors, costing £7 per person.

Sadly, the site doesn’t allow pedestrians so you must have a vehicle for these events.
