Drag Race Winner Jaida Essence Hall Is Down for a Hypothetical Winners’ Season

If by “stupid” she means literally flawless and hilarious, we’re ready.

According to Gay Times, the Savage x Fenty model, makeup artist, and Milwaukee native is totally amenable to returning for a hypothetical and long-rumored winners’ season of Drag Race. Not only that, but she’s rooting for a specific winner for the current season of Drag Race, whose final episode premieres this Friday.

Hall hasn’t been a stranger in the halls of Drag Race: the reigning queen was chosen to announce the new cast for Season 13 in a special announcement made on Hall’s birthday, December 9 (a Sag goddess) last year. This year, she’s made no secret of her love for Season 13 hopeful Kandy Muse.

“Kandy was the one person that I had known before the show. We were really close,” Hall told Gay Times. “I’ve wanted this moment for her the most out of everybody. So, I’m going to have to say my girl Kandy.”

Hall has been an advocate for her fellow queens since her win last season. After a controversial “roast” episode in which Utica made inappropriate comments about judge Michelle Visage’s weight, Hall spoke out to make sure none of the queens became the subject of online abuse from the show’s rabid fans. “I hope y’all ain’t out here spreading hate to none of the girls from an episode of a tv show last night,” she tweeted on March 27th. “I really hope y’all aren’t.”

Hall won our hearts during Season 12 when she brought her makeup skills to bear on fellow queen Silky Nutmeg Ganache, and later when she absolutely stunned judges Rachel Bloom and Jeff Goldblum during the Choices 2020 political debate episode by refusing to answer questions she didn’t like. Just like…you know, actual presidential candidates do all the time. And that Queen of the Damned dress for the Halloween episode? Don’t get us started.

“Oh my god. I always thought I would wait forever if I decided to go back and do All-Stars, if I had not won,” Hall told Gay Times. The the latest “Drag Race UK” winner Laurence Chaney, however, told the outlet she is already wiped by her win, and was “exhausted by episode two.”

Hall, however, would love to get back in the Drag Race saddle. She told Gay Times that it would be “kinda nice” to do the whole thing all over again.

Drag Race Season 13 will conclude this Friday, April 23.
