In the heart of one of New York City’s west side neighborhood the Meatpacking District, in Gansevoort Plaza, Dior Beauty has opened a retail pop-up fragrance instillation from today until September 16th. Drawing women from all over the city, the pop-up features not only the new Miss Dior Eau De Parfum but also a Dior Beauty skincare line and color cosmetics. Women visiting are able to get their face made up, and sit on the back patio sipping hot and cold drinks.
A very feminine fragrance wrapped in a feminine bottle with an accent bow, Miss Dior parfum isn’t new, but this is a new scent. Miss Dior was created in 1947 with an ethos to bring enchantment to women’s lives. It’s a fragrance that’s focused on the beauty of things, the little things that makes a woman smile like the bow on the top of the bottle, and millefiori floral inspiration.
The notes that make this new fragrance come to life is the centifolia rose, filled with honey and peppery notes, giving a velvet heart. Lily-of-the-Valley notes from apricot, Peony, and Iris notes gives the fragrance its floral oomph. The pop-up is filled with flowers, what the House of Dior is calling a millefiori garden. Colorful fresh velvety flowers fill the pop-up, as well as a Bentley car that is mostly covered in flowers.
Guests are able to get custom made lattes, cappuccinos, flat whites, espressos, and wellness lattes iced or hot. There is also a bow atelier detailing the material used to make the bow on top of the bottle, and a hall of mirrors filled with flowers by florist Lewis Miller.
The new Miss Dior retails for $82 for 30ML, $108 50ML, and $138 for 100ML. Visitors are able to purchase bottles at the pop-up or on Dior’s website, and major departments stores.
