The first debate on Wednesday night was a relatively serene affair – but Thursday’s debate featured a bunch of big hitters who went toe-to-toe in a surprisingly tense event.
Kamala Harris was widely hailed as the victor, after launching an excoriating attack on frontrunner Joe Biden’s record on race relations, as the former vice president was several times forced on the defensive.
Mindock was in the audience at the Adrienne Arsht Centre for both of the debates, just a week after watching Donald Trump’s 2020 campaign launch just over 200 miles away at the Amway Centre in Orlando.
