Daniil Medvedev launched tirade at 'small kid' Stefanos Tsitsipas – 'Shut the f*** up'

With the umpire continuing to calm Medvedev down, the now-25-year-old quipped back: “He started it, he started it,” as the chair umpire agreed he had heard Tsitsipas’ comment at the net.

“He said bulls*** Russian,” the recent US Open champion said, adding: “You think this is normal?”

“I answered him because he doesn’t know how to fight. He’s a small kid who doesn’t know how to fight,” he continued as Tsitsipas walked off the court.

The pair have come a long way since, both reaching the world’s top three and winning the ATP Finals, while Medvedev won his first Grand Slam title last season while Tsitsipas reached his first Major final.
