HT: Crystal Palace 2-0 Man Utd
Crystal Palace dominated Manchester United in the first half at Selhurst Park.
Palace opened the scoring after just 12 minutes when Michael Olise picked up a pass from Daniel Munoz and dribbled past Casemiro before driving the ball forward and delivering a clinical show from the edge of the box.
United thought they got one in when Christian Eriksen’s corner-kick from the left found Casemiro on the far post and his awkward header got past the Eagles’ goalkeeper Dean Henderson.
However, the referee chalked the Red Devils’ equaliser off as Rasmus Hojlund was deemed to have fouled Henderson.
And Palace doubled their lead in the 40th minute when Chris Richards played Jean-Philippe Mateta down the left and dribbled past Jonny Evans before beating Andre Onana with a brilliant shot.
