Cristiano Ronaldo shows off new buzz cut hairstyle as he sings while keeping fit in quarantine

Bored of quarantine ALREADY, Cristiano? Ronaldo shows off new buzz cut hairstyle as he sings while keeping fit at luxury home in Turin… eight days after testing positive for coronavirus on international duty with Portugal

  • Cristiano Ronaldo is isolating in Turin after he tested positive for coronavirus
  • The Juventus star produced a positive test eight days ago on international duty
  • He has missed recent matches and so has been forced to keep fit while at home
  • Ronaldo has had time on his hands and showed fans a new quarantine hairstyle

Two things became increasingly popular at the height of lockdown: exercise and haircuts.

As Cristiano Ronaldo continues his period of self-isolation at his Turin home having tested positive for coronavirus, the 35-year-old showed he is not so different to the rest of us as he sported a new buzz cut hairstyle while putting in the miles on an exercise bike.

Ronaldo produced a positive Covid-19 test result while on international duty with Portugal eight days ago and he has been confined to his house since landing back in Turin.

Unable to feature at all for Juventus, or use the club’s facilities at their training ground, Ronaldo has been keeping busy in his home gym, which leads onto a grand balcony.

Ronaldo shared a clip on his Instagram page where he is seen dancing and singing while cycling on the gym bike – but it was his new hair that stole the headlines for fans.

Girlfriend Georgina Rodriguez is the one who recorded the video showing Ronaldo maintaining peak condition as he targets a return in time to face arch-rival Lionel Messi in the Champions League on October 28.

The video was captioned: ‘Success in life is not measured by what you achieve, but by the obstacles you overcome’.

Ronaldo has taken his quarantine particularly seriously, previously revealing his family have stayed on a different floor in the house as a precaution.

Rodriguez’s video was taken behind a glass screen which divides the outdoor gym with the rest of the balcony area.

There had been claims from Italy‘s sports minister, Vincenzo Spadafora, that Ronaldo may have broken coronavirus protocols by flying back to Italy from Portugal.

However, the five-time Ballon d’Or winner quickly quashed that claim after taking to Instagram Live, claiming he complied with all necessary procedures.

The 35-year-old said on Instagram: ‘I’m always at home, now I’m sunbathing, also to let the days pass. I’m respecting the protocol, I did not break it, as has been said: It’s a lie.

‘I returned from Portugal because my team and I made sure to comply with all the procedures.

‘I returned to Italy by air ambulance and I have had no contact with anyone, even in Turin.’

Juventus managed a draw to Crotone in Serie A and a 2-0 win away at Dynamo Kiev in the Champions League without him.

But boss Andrea Pirlo will be desperate to see his talisman return given his influence on the dressing room.
