Commanders RB Jonathan Williams on Brian Robinson: 'He's half Wolverine or something'

It’s been a momentous week thus far for Washington Commanders running back Brian Robinson.

On Monday, the rookie was medically cleared just five weeks after being shot twice during an attempted robbery. On Wednesday morning, it was reported that Robinson was designated to return to practice, and in the afternoon, media members captured pictures and video of the Alabama product working out with the team.

According to Ben Standig of The Athletic, head coach Ron Rivera said that Robinson will now be “closely monitored.”

Wednesday’s transactional move gives the 23-year-old a shot at making his NFL debut in Week 5 when the Commanders host the Tennessee Titans at 1 p.m. ET on Sunday.
