Clippers’ Montrezl Harrell switches agents, returns to Rich Paul

Montrezl Harrell has changed agents and is returning to Rich Paul’s Klutch Sports.

Harrell was originally represented by Paul when he entered the league in 2015. Last year he switched to Rosenhaus Sports NBA agent Bobby Petriella and signed a 2-year, $12 million deal with the L.A. Clippers as a restricted free agent.

Harrell has improved greatly and is a true bargain at $6 million, which is something he seems to recognize. Returning to Klutch Sports, as reported by ESPN’s Ramona Shelburne, may be an indication that he is not happy with his current contract status and believes Paul can help him get more.

Harrell averaged 16.6 points, 6.5 rebounds, 2.0 assists, 0.9 steals and 1.2 blocks per game last season. He is expected to have a big role on the championship-contending Clippers next season.
