Clippers get Patrick Beverley back in new role. When will Serge Ibaka join him?

After the Clippers broke a season-long tying three-game losing streak by beating the Raptors 105-100 Tuesday night, Patrick Beverley sat down with the media prior to head coach Tyronn Lue.

Beverley being the first to speak, provided he speaks at all, is what he always does. Coming off the bench, which Beverley did in his first game back from surgery to repair a fracture in his left (non-shooting) hand, is not what Beverley does — until last night.

Beverley had started every game this season prior to his third return from a multi-week injury layoff. Earlier this season, Beverley experienced right knee soreness that sidelined him for 17 days before the All-Star break and for 26 days after the All-Star break. In both cases, he was in the starting lineup for his game back on the floor.
