Clio creates granola and Greek yogurt bars

PISCATAWAY, NJ. — Clio Snacks is increasing the convenience and snackability of parfaits with its new Clio Granola and Yogurt Parfait Bars.

Packed with 10 grams of protein, the refrigerated bars combine Clio’s Greek yogurt with a layer of crunchy granola made with soy protein crisps, almonds, toasted oats, honey and quinoa crisps. Enrobed in either yogurt or chocolate, the bars come in two varieties: strawberry and coconut.

The strawberry variety features strawberry Greek yogurt with toasted almond and cranberry granola wrapped in a layer of Greek yogurt. Each bar contains 210 calories, 17 grams of sugar and 8 grams of fat.

The coconut flavor features Greek yogurt layered with coconut almond granola all dipped in dark chocolate. Each bar contains 210 calories, 14 grams of sugars and 11 grams of fat.

“Parfait is a classic offering, combining the crunchiness of granola with Greek yogurt for a delectable breakfast or snack option,” said Heather Cox, chief operating officer of Clio Snacks. “For Clio, it felt like a natural next step as we continue to push the boundaries and reimagine the yogurt and bar experience. From the first bite we knew we had a product that perfectly balances crave-ability with guilt free-ingredients, all wrapped in a delicious, convenient bar.”

Clio Granola and Yogurt Parfait Bars are available at Whole Foods Market stores nationwide for a suggested retail price of $2.49 per bar. The company plans to expand distribution in June.
