Chelsea vs Luton Town – FA Cup: live score and fourth round updates

Chelsea vs Luton Town LIVE: Frank Lampard makes Mason Mount skipper and names Christian Pulisic and Timo Werner in a strong line-up for FA Cup fourth-round tie at snowy Stamford Bridge

Chelsea boss Frank Lampard faces a game he cannot afford to lose as he prepares for a potential banana skin against Championship outfit Luton Town in the FA Cup fourth round.

Pressure continues to mount on his shoulders after the latest disappointing result – a 2-0 loss to Leicester City last week – and a defeat to a lower league opposition would surely be the last straw in his tenure.

The Blues find themselves ninth in the Premier League table despite spending £230m last summer, and the club’s board will be concerned about Lampard’s failure to haul his side up the table. The FA Cup represents the club’s only realistic chance of winning silverware this season and the boss will be hoping for a confidence boosting win.

Luton, who are 13th in the second tier, will more than fancy their chances against a team on the ropes at present – and should head to Stamford Bridge full of confidence and knowing they have nothing to lose.

Sportsmail’s TOBY MILES will guide you through live FA Cup coverage of Chelsea vs Luton – including score, lineups and build-up.
