According to the Sun, Blues boss Thomas Tuchel will offer the centre-back a new one-year contract.
After Saturday’s final Silva paid tribute to Lampard, who guided the Blues through the Champions League group stages this season before losing his job in January.
Silva was a rock-solid presence at the back for the period he was on the field on Saturday night
‘It was special, it was my first year here,’ Silva added.
