MORNING, FOOTBALL FANS
Yesterday was a busy day at Spurs on the transfer front, as the North Londoners edged closer to a number of ins and outs.
The Lilywhites are yet to recruit new boss Nuno Espirito Santo’s first signing since joining the club.
But according to Italian transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, Tottenham have sealed two new recruits that will be announced in the coming days.
The first sees Atalanta goalkeeper Pierluigi Gollini arrive on a season-loan deal, with Spurs possessing an option to buy for £13million.
And the second sees exciting Sevilla youngster Bryan Gil arrive for around £21.5m… with stalwart Erik Lamela heading in the other direction.
Spurs continue to be linked with defenders, and are in talks with Atalanta regarding Cristian Romero, as well as Gollini, but a deal for the Argentine isn’t yet thought to be close.
Across North London, Arsenal are edging closer to adding £50million ace Ben White from Brighton, having already signed young stars Nuno Tavares and Albert Sambi Lokonga.
The England international could complete his medical this week.
Further north, Manchester United are still working on finally sewing up a deal for Raphael Varane, with a move for Kieran Trippier also likely to go through.
Fellow North West side Everton did announce two signings yesterday, with Andros Townsend and Asmir Begovic joining the Toffees.
