Capture squirrel antics with this Eufy outdoor security cam system for $214.19 – TechHive

If you want to get started with an outdoor security setup, don’t miss today’s deal on Anker’s line of security cams. Amazon is selling a two-camera Anker EufyCam 2 wireless home security system for $214.19. That’s close to the all-time low and better than the usual $250-ish that this system typically fetches.

We’ve previously reviewed the EufyCam 2, giving it four out of five stars. “The EufyCam 2 is a compelling starter option if you’re looking for an outdoor security camera,” we said.

This bundle features two cameras and a base station, and the battery-powered cameras should last up to 365 days on a single charge, according to Anker.

To withstand the elements, Anker outfitted the cameras (which can capture 1080p video with a 140-degree field of view) with IP67 weatherproofing, which means they’re dust-proof and resistant to heavy rain.

As with other Anker gear, the EufyCam 2 features on-device storage instead of connecting to a cloud service. Anker says 16GB is enough for up to three months of usage.

The system also features human face detection, night vision, two-way audio, and it works with Apple HomeKit, as well as Google Assistant and Alexa.

If you also need some indoor security cams, Amazon is selling two of Anker’s Eufy Solo indoor cams for $80, down from the usual $96.
