Broncos WR Jerry Jeudy arrested

Broncos wide receiver Jerry Jeudy was arrested Thursday afternoon on charges of 2nd degree criminal tampering with a domestic violence enhancer and is in Arapahoe County Jail, the Arapahoe County Sheriff’s office announced.

In a Thursday afternoon press conference (via Pro Football Network), Arapahoe County Sheriff Tyler Brown said there was “no physical contact” between Jeudy and the woman who accused him of incident.

The Broncos issued a statement following Jeudy’s arrest: “We are aware of the matter involving Jerry Jeudy and are in the process of gathering more information.”

Jeudy, 23, only played in 10 games last season after dealing with a high ankle sprain. He hauled in 38 receptions for 467 yards and no touchdown last season. The 15th pick in the 2020 NFL Draft caught 52 passes for 856 yards and three TDs in his rookie season.
