There will be six Head2Head (H2H) wagers, with three offered on the Friday program and three on Saturday. The Head2Head format brings the sports betting style of wagering of one side over another into a horse racing wagering format, in what is essentially an even money proposition.

All Breeders’ Cup Head2Head wagers are a $10 minimum, and are enhanced by a very attractive 10% takeout. The 2019 Breeders’ Cup Head2Head Wagers are as follows:

The “Future Stars Friday” trio of Head2Head wagers begins with two USA vs. Euro bets in the $1 million Breeders’ Cup Juvenile Turf Sprint (G2) and the $2 million Breeders’ Cup Juvenile Fillies Turf (G1). Those propositions are followed by an East vs West Head2Head in the $2 million TVG Breeders’ Cup Juvenile.

Two Wesley Ward-trained runners, stakes winners Four Wheel Drive and Kimari lead the USA, while Norfolk Stakes winner A’Ali (IRE) headlines the European contingent. In the Juvenile Fillies Turf, the Todd Pletcher-trained Sweet Melania heads the U.S. contingent against the Europeans led by morning-line favorite Albigna.

The third Friday Head2Head is the $2 million Breeders’ Cup Juvenile pitting the East led by Dennis’ Moment against the West headed by Eight Rings

Saturday’s Head2Head features two USA vs. Euro matchups in the $2 million Maker’s Mark Breeders’ Cup Filly & Mare Turf and the $2 million TVG Breeders’ Cup Mile.

Defending champion Sistercharlie (IRE)  leads the USA lineup in the Filly & Mare Turf vs. the Europeans headed by Fleeting. In the Mile, the USA contingent is fronted by females Uni and Got Stormy against the Europeans paced by morning-line favorite Circus Maximus.

The final Head2Head is a $6 million Longines Breeders’ Cup Classic showdown between the top 3-year-old Code of Honor and morning-line favorite McKinzie.
