Braves outfielder Jorge Soler has been cleared by MLB‘s Joint Committee to return from the COVID-19 related injured list, the team announced Thursday. Soler will be available for Thursday’s NLCS Game 5 against the Dodgers in Los Angeles. Atlanta leads the series 3-1 and would advance to the World Series with a win.
Soler, 29, was removed from the active roster on Oct. 14 after testing positive for COVID. Acquired from the Kansas City Royals at the trade deadline, he’s batted .269/.358/.524 since joining Atlanta.
