Bible teacher Amir Tsarfati, an Israeli Christian who heads up the nonprofit “Behold Israel” to teach how God’s word applies to modern news, culture and events, says America has fallen on tough times, but that fear is for the faithless.
God is in charge, he says. Even President Joe Biden’s policies — which have taken a decidedly less pro-Israel view than the previous Donald Trump administration — can’t challenge God’s sovereignty, he says.
In a 30-minute sit-down video interview in Jerusalem, Tsarfati spoke on everything from Israel’s war with Hamas, the pressures from the international community, America’s fall from moral grace, and the latest breaking news events and how they fit into the biblical time line toward the Second Coming of Jesus — with an overall theme of inspiration, peace and yes, even in these dark times, joy.
He also touched on whispered Christian topics like suns and moons and stars and eclipses, and why believers needed to focus more on the Bible and less on what others write about signs they say they see in the skies and interpret for gloom and doom. False prophets are everywhere, he suggested.
