The signing of Erling Braut Haaland has been announced by Borussia Dortmund, with the Bundesliga side snatching one of Europe’s most wanted strikers from under the nose of Manchester United.
Haaland shot to fame for RB Salzburg in the Champions League this season, putting in outstanding performances in the group stages.
The German side reportedly only had to fork out £18m for the the teenager, who is set to earn £130,000 a week, according to the Sun.
Following the release of his announcement video, the striker said: ‘There was a feeling right from the start that I absolutely wanted to switch to this club, go this route and play football in this incredible Dortmund atmosphere in front of more than 80,000 spectators. I’m already burning for it.’

Dortmund – who have a history of landing Europe’s top talents early in their careers – have struck once again, securing the Norwegian’s signature despite United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer meeting with him.
It is a huge blow for United, who failed to replace Romelu Lukaku when the powerful centre-forward left for Antonio Conte’s Inter Milan in the summer.
The big striker is set to link-up with fellow highly-rated young talent Jadon Sancho for Dortmund, as they battle for Champions League qualification in a tightly-packed league.
He will meet up with the Englishman and his other Dortmund team-mates for a warm weather training camp on January 3rd – before Dortmund’s Bundesliga season resumes with a trip to Augsburg on the 18th.

The 19-year-old has scored eight goal in six games in the Champions League this season, a sensational return for a player who only left Molde a year ago.
He scored against Liverpool, netted three across Salzburg’s two Napoli clashes and bagged a hat-trick against Genk in this season’s Champions League – but it wasn’t enough as they finished third in Group E.
The striker will be a huge loss for RB Salzburg, who he has also provided with 16 goals and six assists in 14 Austrian Bundesliga matches.
They had no hope of holding onto him though, as Juventus were also closely linked to the 6ft 4in giant – but it was Lucien Favre’s side who were able to secure the prolific teen.
Dortmund sit fourth with the winter break ongoing in Germany, after a roller-coaster opening to the season.

Their first-choice striker, Paco Alacer, has been dogged by injury this season, managing less than 600 on-field minutes and forcing Favre to play Mario Gotze as a false nine at times.
Alcacer contributed a vital 18 goals last season, and it will be hoped Haaland can provide the attacking focal point BVB need when he is their player in the new year.
