Chromebooks make great traveling companions. If you keep your data in the Cloud, you don’t need a large, expensive, delicate laptop to worry about on the road, just get one (or two or three) of these stout Samsung Chromebooks and spread them around your team or family. Work gets done and when the day is over, you can watch Netflix and run hundreds of useful Chrome OS apps. The Chromebook 3 is lightweight, tough and capable. And now it’s half price on Best Buy.

If you want to replace a home PC with a laptop, this one can get it done. Normally $1200, Walmart has it for $1,099.

A perfect choice for students or those who don’t need a high-powered (or expensive) laptop, the Lenovo IdeaPad 130S looks like it was made by that company in Cupertino but it’s a fraction of the cost—a small fraction. Plus, a one-year subscription to Office 365 is included with purchase.

Microsoft’s innovative Surface Go tablet PCs give you the best of both worlds: PC performance with tablet options. This 10-inch Surface Go bundle includes a burgundy backlit keyboard, mouse and stylus for a great price. Use it like regular laptop, a desktop PC or a tablet with the keyboard detached. There’s a lot of versatility for the money. Separately, this kit would be well over $600 for everything, but Amazon has it for just $489.
