Austin Rivers, Bryn Forbes and 10 more fantasy final week surprises; plus, lessons learned from an early hoops draft


The final week of the NBA season is almost always a crapshoot, as dozens of top players end up sitting out games for various reasons. As a result, many players who haven’t been on the fantasy radar for most of the year suddenly have value, but it’s pretty tricky figuring out who to start and who to bench.

So to kick things off, I’ll give you a dozen of my “surprise guys,” or those unexpected players who I’m suddenly rooting for, and counting on, to be difference makers over this final week of the season. If things go right, these unheralded players are going to help me secure several league titles and overall championships.

Next, I’m going to take you on a deeper dive into the first fantasy hoops team that I drafted this season, because while this team hasn’t been dominant, it’s still one of my favorites.
