First, I’d like to say that I actually adore my roommates more than most. I feel so fortunate sharing an apartment with people I love because it makes coming home fun. But that being said, who doesn’t need a little space from time to time? Creating a sanctuary for yourself when you share a space can seem daunting, especially when you live in a city like New York where space is often limited. Your room can make such an impact on how relaxed you feel at home, which is the one place you should be able to de-stress and re-charge after long days at work.
