The report details that Edouard could be allowed to leave for around £20m this summer, with Celtic previously valuing the 23-year-old at around double that price.

Edouard’s contract at Celtic Park – where he has been since a loan deal from PSG in 2017 – is due to expire in the summer of 2022.

Leicester boss Brendan Rodgers worked with Edouard during his time at Celtic and is believed to be keen on a reunion at the King Power.

Edouard originally joined Celtic on a season-long loan deal in 2017 before the move was made permanent a year later.

He has scored 21 times this season, in a campaign which is set to see Celtic lose their stranglehold on the Scottish Premiership which they have won for the last nine years.

Steven Gerrard’s Rangers need just seven more points to claim the title and Neil Lennon resigned as Celtic boss last week as a result of a season of disappointment so far for The Bhoys.
