Andy Murray explains his apprehension and 'raw' feelings as new documentary released


And he made his comeback at the Fever-Tree Championships at Queen’s Club in June, remarkably winning the doubles tournament with Feliciano Lopez.

In August, Murray resumed singles action and after a handful of tournaments, he was once again a winner as he beat Stan Wawrinka to win the European Open in October.

It capped an incredible return after the immense struggles in 2017 and 2018 and fans will get to see the torment Murray overcame and his hunger and desire to play the sport he loves in a new documentary ‘Andy Murray: Resurfacing’.

Speaking at the premiere of the film, Murray revealed his reasons for documenting his pain-staking recovery.

He said: “I’d been out for six months in 2017 and I decided that I would have the first operation in Australia.
