Aces’ Angel McCoughtry ruled out with knee injury

Las Vegas Aces forward Angel McCoughtry was carried off the court after suffering a right knee injury during Saturday’s preseason game against the Los Angeles Sparks and was ruled out by the team.

McCoughtry went to the locker room after spending a few minutes on the bench. She did not put weight on her right leg. She returned to the bench in the second half in a wheelchair. In 2018, McCoughtry injured her left knee and was sidelined for the remainder of the season along with the entire 2019 season.

McCoughtry, 34, averaged 14.4 points per game and 5.1 rebounds in her first season with the Aces in 2020.

This is a developing story. More to come.
