A Finance Department Named Its 2 Resident Office Cats “Debit” and “Credit,” Because of Course

A trucking company in Ohio has two resident office cats, and I just have one pressing question for its HR department: are you hiring?! The kitten siblings, which were adopted hired by the finance and computer department and subsequently named Debit and Credit, are going viral for an adorable video of the pair of them putting in a hard day’s work at the office back when they were just little babies.

In the video, which was originally shared to Reddit in 2019 but now appears on Debit and Credit’s shared Instagram account, the duo can be seen taking turns hiding under a Staples box and attacking each other, as kittens do. After that video spread like wildfire, Debit and Credit’s office shenanigans were continually documented on their account; but sadly for the office and its employees, the grown kittens have since moved into a new forever home.

“They are thriving with their new kitty friends and family!” a July 2019 update on their Instagram account reads. “We miss them, and wish we could continue sharing their hijinks with all of you. But we made the decision for Debit and Credit to have a chance at a home, and a family with other cats where their adventures could continue, and they can be truly happy. And they love it.”

Keep reading to see the best of their mischievous hijinks from their time as hardworking office employees.
