Shortly after the Bucks eliminated the Heat from the playoffs on Saturday, Bucks coach Mike Budenholzer stepped to the virtual dais and spoke with reporters. He talked about all the reasons his team was able to flip the script and eliminate the Heat 264 days after the Heat had done the exact same thing to them during the 2020 postseason, but one sentence stuck out among the rest.
“Brook has been really good this series,” Budenholzer said.
Brook Lopez was not the only player Budenholzer praised after the victory. Budenholzer spoke at length about Giannis Antetokounmpo’s special skill set and why it allowed him to impact the series defensively.
