Friday’s Stronach 5, featuring an industry-low 12-percent takeout, had 11 winning tickets each worth $11,240.20.
The sequence began with Big Boots ($18.40) winning Laurel’s eighth race. Hall of Fame trainer King Leatherbury won the third leg at Laurel, saddling Auld Lange Syne ($14.40) to victory. After favored Dynasty of Her Own ($4.20) won the fourth leg from Golden Gate Fields, the sequence wrapped up with Queen of God ($11.60) winning Gulfstream’s eighth race.
There was $140,609 wagered on the Stronach 5.

Friday’s Stronach 5 All-Star Ticket
The minimum wager on the multi-race, multi-track Stronach 5 is $1. If there are no tickets with five winners, the entire pool will be carried over to the next Friday.
If a change in racing surface is made after the wagering closes, each selection on any ticket will be considered a winning selection. If a betting interest is scratched, that selection will be substituted with the favorite in the win pool when wagering closes.
The Maryland Jockey Club serves as host of the Stronach 5.
