Dr S Somanath, ISRO Chairman, outlined the government’s commitment to a comprehensive vision for India’s space sector, termed “Vision 2047.” He indicated that this vision encompasses human space exploration and the expansion of a diverse space economy. “Our goal of landing an Indian on the moon by 2040 reflects our dedication to human space exploration,” he asserted, emphasizing the need for innovative partnerships and a thriving startup ecosystem to achieve these ambitions.
